illegal truck parking

Can you see this truck?? If you can, then your eyesight is better than the NYPD's.
This illegally parked tractor trailer has no license plates on either the cab or the trailer and has been parked on Atlantic Avenue since about 4 PM on Saturday with the compressor noisily running the whole time.

Calls about this have been made to the 102 Pct. and 311. You know what the response is?? "The Police Department responded to the complaint and determined that police action was not necessary."

This is the Maurice Fitzgerald Playground on (94 Avenue between 106 & 104 Streets.
They just love to play basketball here. Doesn't matter what time or day - or weather.
Just look at these young ones enjoying their game this afternoon in the rain.

Just last night, we were being treated to a match at 9:30 PM (so what if the park closes at 9) when the cops came and spoiled the fun by chasing the players out of the park. But, the players fooled 'em. They just took a walk around the block and waited for the cops to leave and resumed their game.

Despite calling the local Precinct (and later 311), the cops never returned.
